"AIKIDO Way of the Peaceful Warrior." - Established 1984 in the Blue Mountains of N.S.W., Australia, is an autonomous, non-political and open school of Aikido with an eclectic and synchretic approach which primarily recognises the founder and respects and welcomes all 'styles', schools, organisations and individuals to train in harmony for mutual benefit, increase of skill and benevolent exchange. Our sole focus is regular training with the view of empowering the individual. Free thought and personal research is encouraged. We are not interested in political debates, hypotheses or lots of idle talk. Training for purposes of self improvement takes precedence over any other consideration. Whilst being an autonomous school of Aikido without any affiliation to various organisations, it respects them all and reserves the right to acknowledge the human integrity and efforts of any and all individuals who may have been participatory in the evolution and development of Aikido worldwide.
