AIKIDO

The origins of all things aiki is lost in the mists of time. The Universe and Nature operate on the aiki principle.

Possibly as far back as the Yamato culture (300 to 800 AD) where the Chinese influence was still strong and where the tactics of strategic yielding, embracing the opponent and recruiting enemies as allies and friends was well known, the embryonic seed of a certain predisposition was beginning to form and evolve almost as an unconscious group mind agreement.
