HISTORY of AIKIDO
The origins of all things aiki are lost in the mists of time. The Universe and Nature operate on the aiki principle. Morihei Ueshiba revived and popularised what seemed to be a dying anachronistic jutsu or combat art. He injected it with a holistic universal approach to training for purposes greater than merely skilled contention. Rather, true modern Aikido is the Do or Michi (Way or Path) in the skill of mitigating conflict, beginning within oneself.
Would it take root? Would it achieve term and be born into the world? Only time would tell.
